“This Victory Belongs to the People” — Re-Elected Lawmaker

Hon. Sabur Akanbi Oluwa, the re-elected member representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has expressed profound appreciation to leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress for their overwhelming support and confidence in him during Wednesday’s party primary election, which secured his return ticket for a second term.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Oluwa thanked the leadership and members of the APC in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency II for the confidence reposed in him, describing his emergence at the primary as a collective victory for the party and the constituency.

The lawmaker particularly appreciated the apex leadership of the party, ward executives, elders, women, youths, and other committed members who participated actively in the exercise across the constituency.

According to him, the massive turnout and support demonstrated by party faithful reflected their belief in progressive leadership and effective representation.

“I sincerely appreciate the overwhelming support, trust, and confidence reposed in me during the primary election. This victory is not for one individual, but a collective victory for our party, our constituency, and our shared belief in progressive governance,” he stated.

Oluwa further noted that he does not take the sacrifices and commitment of party members for granted, assuring them that he would continue to uphold the trust bestowed on him.

He also called on members of the APC in the constituency to remain united and focused ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing the need for collective efforts towards ensuring victory for all candidates of the party.

“As we move forward, I humbly appeal to all members of our great party in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency II to remain united, focused, and committed as we work together towards delivering resounding victories for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections,” he added.

The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the party and advancing development in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency II.
