The Enugu State Governor, Peter Mba, yesterday received the young Guinness World Record holder, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, alongside members of the autism foundation.
God Mba praised the young artists for the history he has made and assured them of the state government’s support in his quest to create awareness about autism
According to Governor Mba, at just 15, Kanyeyachukwu has already etched his name in global history with the world’s largest art canvas, a masterpiece created to inspire hope and deepen awareness about autism.
In the words of the Governor:
“Now, he is preparing for another bold mission, a symbolic bicycle journey from Enugu to Lagos to mark World Autism Day and amplify advocacy for inclusion.
“His story reminds us that limitations exist only where imagination ends. Here in Enugu, we remain committed to building a society where every child, regardless of ability, can dream, create, and thrive.
“Kanyeyachukwu is not just breaking records; he is breaking barriers. And Enugu is proud to stand with him”.
Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke is an autistic visual artist whose bold, vibrant creations aren’t just beautiful; they defy expectations.
Last year, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke set a Guinness World Record for the largest art canvas in the world, and he did it to raise awareness for autistic children
