The countdown has just begun towards the Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN), 30th anniversary and 2nd edition of AMAN awards 2025, considered by members as the biggest and hopefully best event ever.
The AMAN at 30 anniversary and awards ceremonies are set for 26th November 2025 in Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
AMAN is the umbrella body uniting all artiste managers in Nigeria, and it is open to artistes of all genres and operatives within the creative industries to enhance their skills as professional artiste managers.
In a chat with AMAN President Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme Ajereh Enebeli a.k.a. Mavin Grandpa Worldwide (MGW) at AMAN Lekki Lagos secretariat, he hinted that the 2025 AMAN 30th Anniversary and awards are expected to be bigger than other past events
Continuing, Mavin Grandpa Worldwide noted that all artiste managers in Nigeria and those aspiring to join the profession are expected to register and join AMAN and be part of the movement to network, collaborate, and discuss modern trends in artiste management, which will contribute towards developing a befitting and professional artiste management culture in Nigeria.
We plan to continue to use the AMAN platform to deepen understanding in the business of managing artists and other creatives.
Mavin Grandpa further explained that AMAN, which is in its 30th year of existence, has helped many artiste managers and those with such aspirations to realise their ambition of doing what they have chosen to do best
He pointed out that artist management is a very intricate business, and only people with the requisite education and expert knowledge can excel in it. It is a serious dynamic business management effort that employs the activation of social science skills, which is why we continue to rally everyone interested in making an excellent career out of it.
An artiste manager is a business manager who pulls in all arms of business administration and management, including finance and investment, marketing, accounting, statistics, management, etc, for the benefit of his artiste and ultimately himself because of his huge investment
The AMAN event, scheduled for November 2025, will be marked with numerous laudable programs to commemorate its three decades in existence. These programs will include a keynote lecture, workshops, project unveilings, and an award ceremony, all spiced up with live music entertainment and additional activities.
