The National President of Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Morufu Adebayo Arowolo has assured the federal government of his member’s readiness to support the newly introduced tax policy.
Alhaji Arowolo gave the assurance during the tax reforms bills stakeholders meeting in Abuja.
He also expressed optimism that the new tax reforms bill would reduce the burden on the masses and ensure equitable distribution of wealth and resources among Nigerians.
Alhaji Morufu added that the association consists of law-abiding citizens who are ready to support the new tax reforms as part of their civic responsibility.
In his remarks at the meeting, the Director-General of the Small Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria solicited support for the new tax policy because it would promote small-scale enterprises if fully implemented.
