Ahead of Year 2025 Budget preparations, Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, held a Consultative Forum for the residents of the LCDA.
In his opening remarks, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, said, he with his team know the job at hand because they are technocrats and above all, God is on their side.
According to the Chairman, ” We are technocrats, therefore we know what we are doing but above all, God for the people of Ifelodun”

“We have touched all facets of Ifelodun, from security, education, environment, and others. If you check out what we discussed here last year, they are what we have done and by the grace of God, next year, we will gather to check and balance what we have talked about here today. With God on our side, we will do more.”
Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hon. Jamiu Alli-Balogun equally alluded to the fact that the chairman is delivering on his promises of a democratic dividend to the people
“ I can testify that we have a new government in Ifelodun that is inclusive and touching the people in all facets: healthcare facility, education, and welfare among others”.

Though budget is a forecast ours is a reality, just as the State does, whatever Mr Governor says, he does, for Okeowo, it has also been promise made and promise kept and delivered”, Alli-Balogun noted.
He applauded Mayor Okeowo for being a compassionate leader and for listening to the people’s needs, which he can also attest to.
The occasion provided the opportunity for the people to appraise the Okeowo-led government, as speaker after speaker unanimously confirmed in their testimony that the government has been faithful in delivering democracy’s dividends to the people.
