Seyi Tinubu’s City Boy Movement Set To Empower Ajeromi- Ifelodun Women, Youth

Plans by City Boy Movement powered by Seyi Tinubu, to empower Ajeromi ifelodun youths and women are on the way. So says the Director General of the Group, Mr Shoga Oluwatosin

He made this revelation at a two-day medical outreach organized by the Ajeromi Ifelodun Coordinator of the group Kazeem Rasaq, who is also a Chairmanship aspirant.

He explains more, “We have been going round the country to see where we can assist the young people, the women, and everybody in terms of real empowerment and access to government initiatives”

“We are coming back to Ajeromi Ifelodun to fulfill our promises to the people. I was sent by the convener of the City Boy Movement and I am going back to report the outcome of my visit to him and all that we promised the people of Ajeromi Ifelodun local government”.

“I was sent to the people of Ajeromi Ifelodun by my Oga, Seyi Tinubu and I promise you people that we are coming back for the empowerment that will give youth buses, tricycles, and other things that will bring real empowerment.”

Shoga who doled out a monetary gift of five hundred thousand to the women said the women have not seen anything yet until their return to Ajegunle which will be soon.

“I will return to see the Bales, Leaders, the women and youths to know the best means to bring in projects of benefits”.

Dr Leye Oyedun, who is the supervising Medical Director of the outreach, while fielding questions from Lagos Focus News said, he is happy to be part of the team that will bring succor to Ajegunle people through this medical outreach.

He said, “I’ve been invited to be part of the City Boy Movement Medical outreach in Ajeromi /Ifelodun local government area and we thank God that it was a huge success and we are encouraged by the number of turnouts” 

“The ailments we have detected like hypertension, diabetes, and retractable eye problems are being given expedited treatments by the personnel on the ground”.

Responding to questions on his membership of the City Boy Movement, Dr Oyedun confirmed that he is a member of the group that was birthed to give every support to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He also affirmed that being a member of this group may not be unconnected to his aspiration to be the next chairman of Ifelodun LCDA.

“Possibly Yes and possibly No, as the outreach is in line with the group’s noble ideal to giving every visible support to the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This outreach is fore mostly meant for humanity purposes which must not be mixed, in this regard, it is to give back to the community, especially the elderly who have less access to medical facilities due to financial constraints and they can benefit from this”, Dr Oyedun noted.

Throwing more light on his ambition to be the next chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, Dr. Oyedun explained that he has been trying to make the people believe in his ability to do the needful if given the opportunity to be the next head honcho of Ifelodun LCDA.

 The Bale of Ajegunle, Chief S Salami praised the gesture of bringing free health Screening and treatment to the people of Ajeromi local government and charged other people who have the wherewithal to create such opportunities that will benefit the good people of Ajeromi Ifelodun.

Present at the occasion were some ward Chairmen, political leaders, Community Development Associations, and the Divisional Police Officer of Ajeromi
