Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has come down heavily on another younger colleague, Judith Austin Edochie, the wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie.
Rita Edochie is known to tackle Judith headlong since her controversial marriage to Yul Edochie, which ended Yul’s marriage to May Edochie, the mother of his four children.
According to Rita, Judith, in her latest comment on her social media handle, had advised women not to get married to a man just because they got pregnant for him.
Rita Edochie noted that with such a comment, Judith Austin has just indicted herself because that’s how she got married to Yul Edochie.
She wrote:
To me, this sounds like nothing but indirect self-judgement. A silent confession wrapped in fake wisdom
“How can somebody preach against an act she is already guilty of. How do you warn others against a road on which you built a house on. Is that not hypocrisy?
“That other woman’s husband you grabbed, was it not because you got pregnant for him, or is it a spirit you conceived for?
“Tell us, was it a ghost that left his wife and went behind closed doors with some men to pay your bride price that’s never recognized.
Let’s stop deceiving the public. If we must preach, let’s preach from a point of truth, not the same dirt we are trying to cover up
“Don’t come online trying to form saint when your history is loud enough to echo through the walks.
You can’t play victims in one breath and pretend to be a role model in the next. If there are people fit to advise young ladies out there, you wouldn’t even make it to the first 50 on the list,” she noted.
