PDP in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Reaffirms Unity and Commitment to Party’s Future

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ajeromi-Ifelodun has reaffirmed its strength and unity, declaring with one voice that “PDP remains our party.”

At a crucial meeting held recently, nine out of the eleven ward chairmen, alongside the LGA secretary and other key stakeholders, came together to dispel rumours suggesting the party was weakened or inactive since some members decamped to ADC. ”This gathering, (referring to the meeting) served not only as a platform for reassurance but also as a moment of reflection on the party’s journey and its enduring resilience”, they said.

The ward chairmen collectively pledged their commitment to revitalizing the PDP in the local government, emphasizing their resolve to put all necessary structures and strategies in place to ensure the party’s continued success.

Those in attendance included: .Richard Ajibaiye ,Kabiru Adebiyi,Paul West and Tony Chiekwe

Others at the meeting are Dele Emmanuel, Cajethan Akushie, Adebayo Adekunle, Wilson Ezemenari and Benjamin Adeshoye

Their presence and contributions were commended as a demonstration of loyalty, leadership, and dedication to sustaining the party’s relevance in Ajeromi-Ifelodun, a chieftain of the party said.

Despite the short notice of less than 24 hours, several vice chairmen also turned out for the meeting, underscoring the renewed enthusiasm within the PDP family.

Special recognition was given to the party’s esteemed leader, Aare Fakunle, for his fatherly guidance and consistent support, alongside other leaders whose contributions were deeply appreciated.

The atmosphere was one of jubilation, as stakeholders expressed their firm commitment to standing by the PDP and working together towards a brighter future.

According to some PDP faithful, ”The message was clear and unanimous, PDP in Ajeromi-Ifelodun is alive, strong, and ready to lead”.
