The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, is pleased to announce an upcoming event that will mark a significant milestone in the development of Ifelodun LCDA come Wednesday 14th, August 2024. The Council Boss will also preside over the foundation laying ceremony of an ultra-modern Primary Health Centre, (PHC), situated at the Seteolu Community, roundabout. This vital project aims to enhance healthcare services in the area and ensure that residents have access to quality medical facilities.
The event will also feature the commissioning of 14 newly constructed water systems across the seven Wards in the LCDA and seven roads: Igbaja, Ladega, Fijabi-Iyatuwo, Ofure, Olokodana, Ezeagwu Lane, and Ogungbe Streets respectively. These initiatives are part of the Council’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and provide essential services to the community. The newly installed water systems will significantly enhance access to clean and safe drinking water, while the improved roads will facilitate better transportation and connectivity, contributing to overall community wellness and development.

The foundation laying ceremony will take place at the aforementioned site, starting at 10 am prompt. Community members, local leaders, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and witness this historic event that signifies progress and hope for a brighter future
