Hon Ajose tasks Gov. Sanwo-Olu on the rehabilitation of Mowo- Ikoga and adjoining roads.

The Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon, has passionately appealed to the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to consider the urgent rehabilitation of key road networks within the LCDA—particularly Mowo–Ikoga, Mowo–Age, and other Mowo axis roads—to ease mobility, enhance commercial activities, and improve the quality of life for residents in the area.

Hon. Ajose made this appeal during his welcome address at the Commissioning and Handing Over Ceremony of Seven (7) Critical Roads by the Governor, held in Olorunda LCDA.

While commending the Governor’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development under the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda, Hon. Ajose expressed deep gratitude for the administration’s continuous strides in delivering impactful projects that serve both urban and rural communities.
” Your Excellency, we are immensely grateful for your dedication to transforming Lagos through THEMES plus a developmental blueprint. Today’s commissioning and handing over is yet another testament to your vision and inclusive and prosperous state,” the Chairman remarked

In addition to the appeal for road rehabilitation, Hon. Ajose also requested the construction of seventeen (17) standard classrooms and one (1) prototype school building within the LCDA. He noted that the growing population of school-age children has overwhelmed existing facilities, resulting in congestion and limited access to quality education.
“We seek your intervention in the provision of additional classroom blocks to help decongest our schools and guarantee every child has access to quality and inclusive education,” he said
Present at the event were the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hazmat; Speaker, Rt. Mudasiru Obasa ably represented by Hon. Elliot Desmond; Hon. Sesi Whingan, MHR; Hon Solomon Bonu, Member, LAHA, Constituency 01; Hon.Setonji David, Member, LAHA, Constituency 02; HRM, Oba Moses Ayinde Adetunji Olaley,(Bsc, Cipm, Fcai) Onilogbo of Ilogbo Eremi Amon, others.

The event drew wide applause from stakeholders, traditional leaders, and community members who lauded the Governor’s transformational leadership and Hon. Ajose’s proactive engagement on behalf of his people.
