The member representing Ajeromi -Ifelodun Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul; may be heading on a collision course with his predecessor Hon Kolawole Taiwo.
Hon Paul Kalejaiye, who who took over the mantle from Hon Taiwo following his victory at the 2023 general election, plans to celebrate the end of the year party come December 24, with members of his constituency, a day that have remained sacrosanct to Hon Kolawole Taiwo. The former lawmaker had for the past 20 years of his political life, always set aside the said date to celebrate the season with members of his constituency.

Rising from a meeting of the Apex group of HKT family and friends, a member of the group pointed out that Hon Paul Kalejaiye was ill advised by his two Campaign Directors who live in Ifelodun area of the constituency and know how important that date is to Hon Taiwo.
“Maybe Hon Paul Kalejaiye and his advisers want to know whether the people are still with Hon Taiwo, it is good: but December 24, will determine whose side the people are, though he is the present constituency representative”, said the anonymous.
Another ranking member of HKT family and friends group said, Kalejaiye and his advisers will be disappointed on that day because people from the Ajeromi part of the constituency are already asking for their adire uniform from Hon Taiwo camp in preparation for December 24 celebration.
However, attempts to reach Ezekiel Taiwo, the Chairman of HKT family and friends group to get their own side of the story proved abortive as he did not pick his call.
Hon Taiwo was the former Deputy Speaker of Lagos of Assembly before he defeated Hon Rita Orji of the PDP, to represent Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency 1, at the National Assembly.
