Delectable Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has once again reinstated her stand for abortion; as she noted that it’s heartless for a woman to bring into the world, a child she cannot cater to.
She added that her resolve is based on the situation in the country and the challenges women go through sometimes, when faced with the responsibilities of raising many children alone thereby subjecting these hapless children to long lives of suffering.
The outspoken actress made this observation via her X handle. She said most women are forced to abort these babies because of the attitude of their partners who in some cases blame the women.
Idemudia who wrote in a series of posts, noted that while abortion may be a religious sin, she prefers that to bringing a child into the world to suffer.
Her words: You are not disciplined enough to use condoms, so in your selfishness, you get your wife pregnant with the 5th child; no house, and no tangible source of income. Bringing that child into the world should be a crime. If I’m that child, I’ll never forgive you.
“Next thing the woman will start struggling in front of the children to feed them and send them to school. She and the selfish father begin to emotionally blackmail them and make them feel like ‘ohh see the struggle I’m struggling to send you to school and make you a better future”.
“While abortion is a religious sin, I’m not going to deny the fact that it saves people from a lot of unnecessary issues. And it saves a lot of kids from coming to this world to suffer for their parents mistakes,”
“With all the hungry innocent children who are suffering all around, are we still against abortion? Isn’t abortion better than life long suffering? They never asked to be born into all this hardship. If your own future is not sure, why bring an innocent person to life?” she questioned.
