It was a historic moment in the nation’s literary and publishing sector on Thursday as the Better Life for Authors and Publishers Association of Nigeria (BLAPAN) formally inaugurated its first set of national executive council members at a well-attended swearing-in ceremony held at Moakland Plaza, Ikeja.
The association, which evolved from the Nigerian Council of Authors Against Piracy (NCAP), was officially registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on December 5, 2024, after over three years of strategic restructuring and advocacy.
