HON. CHIEF JOSEPH CHUKWUMA IKUNNA (JCI)
Onwanekwueme 1 of Oru
Founder, Joseph Chukwuma Ikunna (JCI) Foundation
The Board of Trustees, Management and Staff of Eyegate Media Ltd, publishers of Lagos Focus News and Transportation Focus, joyfully celebrate an icon of philanthropy, an industrialist, a servant-leader, and a rare gift to humanity on the occasion of your birthday today, October 8th.
Sir, your life speaks eloquently of selfless service and commitment to humanity. From your life-touching interventions, including the Youth Empowerment Programme, through which Imo youths were trained in Desktop Publishing, Website Design, and Computer Applications and provided with brand-new laptops; to attracting investors from ISTDAL to the Heartland Gateway International Market, Mgbidi; to empowering women with soft loans and sustaining annual scholarships for indigent students; and to establishing the Christoph-Diamonds Industry, a 100-tonne-per-day Palm Kernel Crushing Plant that employed over 60 indigenes—you have consistently demonstrated that true leadership is about lifting others.
A cerebral, soft-spoken, and refined gentleman, as well as a disciple of good governance, you remain a cynosure of all eyes and a beacon of hope to the common man.
On this auspicious occasion, we pray that Almighty God blesses you with long life in sound health, greater wisdom, abundant grace, uncommon favour, and higher elevation, as you continue your selfless service to your people and humanity at large.
Happy Birthday to a Man of the People!
Age with Grace, Onwanekwueme 1!
