Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has got social media buzzing after unveiling what she described as her “new face” following a recent facial aesthetic procedure.
The actress, who has remained in the spotlight following the end of her controversial marriage to her former husband, Bobby Marris, shared pictures of her refreshed appearance with her fans, while explaining why she chose to undergo the procedure.
Ogbodo said she is not the type to sit back and complain about something she believes she can change.
According to her, her decision was not about rejecting herself, but about making a personal choice to alter aspects of her appearance that she was not completely comfortable with.
“I’m a woman who believes in one thing: if you don’t like it, change it,” she said.
The actress revealed that she visited Marvel’s Aesthetics Hub, where she underwent a combination of threads, fillers and PDO treatment as part of what she described as facial rejuvenation.
She said the procedures were aimed at lifting and restoring facial volume and smoothing lines, adding that they were carried out without surgery.
Ogbodo also used the opportunity to speak about her business, Baddie in Transit Consult, which she said was created to help women navigate plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures by connecting them with doctors, clinics and aesthetic professionals.
For the actress, the latest transformation appears to be another chapter in her very public journey of reinvention and judging by the reaction online, her “new face” has certainly given her fans something to talk about.
