The Ajegunle Business School (ABS) has announced that its 2025 Entrepreneurship Award and Graduation Ceremony holds Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Festival Hotel, Festac Town, Lagos.
The annual event, scheduled for 2:00 p.m., will celebrate graduates of the institution’s Basic Certificate Course in Entrepreneurship and Business Development, while also recognising individuals and organisations that have made notable contributions to innovation, leadership, community service, and business excellence.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ABS, Mr. Alfred Konaughe, said the occasion reflects the school’s mission to “raise a new generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders from Ajegunle and beyond.” He noted that the graduating participants have shown resilience and commitment and are expected to contribute significantly to economic and social development in their respective communities.
This year’s Entrepreneurship Award will spotlight outstanding personalities across sectors such as media, fashion, technology, social impact, public service, and small business leadership. According to the organisers, the award aims to celebrate individuals whose work has created value, inspired innovation, and empowered others within and outside the Ajegunle community.
The 2025 ceremony also marks a major milestone in ABS’s continued investment in entrepreneurship education and grassroots empowerment. Over the years, the institution has provided training, mentorship and business support to emerging entrepreneurs, helping them acquire the skills required for business growth and sustainability.
Highlights of the event will include certificate presentations to graduating students, recognition of award recipients, a keynote address by a leading Nigerian entrepreneur, networking opportunities, and special performances.
Industry leaders, business executives, government representatives, and community stakeholders are expected to attend.
