Thousands of Galatasaray fans trooped out yesterday to welcome their newfound hero, Victor Osimhen, in Istanbul, Turkey, during his official unveiling by the club. This is coming after a long, drawn negotiation between his former Italian club, Napoli, and the current Turkish champions, Galatasaray.
The Turkish giant completed the 75 million pound deal from Napoli, which saw the Super Eagles player move on a permanent deal.

With the completion of the deal, the former African footballer of the year has smashed the records of the most expensive player in Turkish football history, smashing the previous Süper Lig transfer record set at €19.5M
In another development, Galatasaray commentator Uğur Karakullukçu has reported that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is demanding a salary equivalent to that of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray.

This news indicates a significant shift in the player transfer market as clubs evaluate player valuations and salary expectations amid ongoing negotiations
