Alhaji Rasulu Olushola Idowu, the executive chairman of Ojo Local Government Area recently presented the 2024 budget tagged ‘Budget of Consolidated Development’ before the legislators, leaders, stakeholders, exco and management staff of the local government.
The proposed budget is worth four Billion, four hundred and fifty Million, five hundred Thousand Naira, 34 Kobo* (N4, 450,500,000:34k). The budget in the coming year is expected to take care of some capital projects which include but not limited to:
i. Construction of Ona Odo / Yeye Arolu Street -Ojo
ii. Construction of Costain Road, Ojo
iii. Construction of Oseni / Community Rd, Ilaje
iv. Construction of Vocational Center -Ojo
v. Construction of Maxwell Street -Ajangbadi
vi. Construction of Borehole at Origeke/Onigbongbo -Riverine
vii. Construction of a new Legislative Building -Ojo
viii. Provision of Health Equipment to Ojo PHC / Medical Outreach Programmes.
ix. Construction of Olaiya/Oseni Street -Sabo
x. AGRIC, Rural and Community Service Programs.
xi. Poverty Alleviation & Economic Empowerment Programmes.
xii. Education & Library Service Programmes
xiii. Staff Training & Welfare Programmes,
